About Me
Hello, my name is Tyler Johnson! I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Game Design with a minor in Computer Science from High Point University. I am now pursuing a graduate degree at HPU, with graduation in May 2025. Additionally, I’m honored to be part of HPU’s prestigious Media Fellows Program, an exclusive scholarship awarded to a select group of freshmen each year based on outstanding media experience and a compelling written essay.
My passion for video games began in childhood, where I was captivated by their ability to tell stories, spark imagination, and bring people together. This lifelong interest grew into a fascination with the game development process, from concept to completion. Earning my degree has allowed me to explore the technical, artistic, and narrative elements that make games truly impactful.
My goal is to become a professional game designer, creating innovative and fun games that resonate with players of all ages and experience levels, from avid gamers to those just picking up a controller for the first time.
